What is an 8D report?<\/span><\/h2>\n

An 8D report (8 Disciplines) is a structured approach to problem-solving and quality assurance, where you identify recurring problems and find solutions that ensure they do not repeat.<\/p>\n

The 8D report is often used in connection with complaint cases between customers and suppliers, where the customer experiences recurring discrepancies\/problems with products, services or processes. With the 8D report, it ensures that the supplier not only reacts to the specific discrepancies but also manages to identify and eliminate the underlying causes (the root of the discrepancies), so the problems do not recur. <\/p>\n

It’s therefore not just about resolving the issue here and now, but also about implementing permanent preventative measures with the supplier, so something similar cannot occur in the future. Therefore, the 8D report is often a requirement from the customer, for the cooperation with the supplier to continue. <\/p>\n

We do this using concrete examples from Danish and international companies, as well as through training exercises and case work (your own case), allowing you to work with the theory in practice. <\/p>\n

During the course, all participants will have the opportunity to work with a concrete, practical problem from their own company, preferably in close dialogue with the person who has the strategic responsibility for the issue at hand (and thus has an in-depth knowledge of the problem).
