Process Optimisation
Achieve more efficient and effective processes, visible on the bottom line.
What is process optimisation and why is it important?
Process optimisation is a review and improvement of your processes/workflows so that they deliver a result efficiently and streamlined, which meets or even exceeds your customers’ expectations for speed, quality, and functionality. At the same time, process optimisation also reduces errors and waste in the process, thereby improving your bottom line by using fewer resources. Therefore, it can be a particularly good investment to have things checked out to see if there is anything that can be improved.
All businesses need to optimise or adjust their processes regularly. The need can arise due to increased competition, higher customer demands, changes in workflows, declining quality, etc.
Can we assist you?
If you need to optimise one or more processes, we are ready to assist you. Whether it’s specific help with a sub-process, or an end-to-end project perspective.
We have many years of practical experience in assisting both large international businesses and small to medium-sized businesses. Our clients vary not only in size but also come from many different industries, such as administration, production, development, and pharma, etc.

Our approach
For a change in one or more processes to function, it’s important that both management and employees are well-equipped for the task. We do this by ensuring an efficient project structure and creating significant employee and management engagement, building belief and enthusiasm for the project throughout.
Management leads the way
We understand how to align the goal of the specific task and ensure that management has a deep understanding of the process for the improvement initiative, and that they are prepared for the importance of their role, so they can collectively lead the effort.
The important employees
We always meet employees at eye level and have great respect for both them and the knowledge and skills they bring to the table. It is therefore important that employees are involved, engaged, and motivated in the improvement work. They are the ones who know the process problems inside out, and they are the ones who will keep the improved process running afterward.
Practical approach – root cause treatment instead of symptom treatment
By focusing on customers, the process, and facts, we find the underlying causes, and don’t just treat the symptoms.
One way to exemplify this would be; If, for example, a fire breaks out in a production plant, we also clarify the reasons why a fire can occur at all, instead of just fighting the fire. We therefore work proactively to minimise the risk of something similar happening again.
Process optimisation methods – our methods ensure good results
We use various tools and methods from both Lean and Six Sigma when we work with process optimisation.
In addition, we also use change management, project management, and senior management experience to ensure that you achieve the desired results quickly, with fewer resources, and the highest possible effect.
Working with eye4improve on key projects has yielded significant improvements in our processes and methods. Their structured management style and trust-building approach have enhanced our collaborative effectiveness. Utilising the DMAIC methodology and Six Sigma principles, we have implemented substantial changes in the organisation.

Case for international Bio-tech company – Process optimisation of the company’s order handling
Challenge/cause
The company faced the following challenges:
- The company's order execution faced several challenges
- High level of sick leave in the company
- Unclear overview of active projects and workload distribution for employees
- Order execution largely depended on individuals
- The execution was slow and inefficient in many cases
- Limited collaboration on processes/workflows, etc.
- The majority of orders were treated as complex cases regardless of reality
- Very limited overview of orders / prospect pipeline
- Difficulty scaling the operation
Solution
Eye4improve, in collaboration with the customer, found the following solutions:
- Analysis of the current situation using a Lean approach
- Mapping the entire process flow to achieve a common understanding of the process and identify potential areas for improvement
- Establish an online overview of active projects, including individual tasks for employees
- An organisational review to identify areas for improving execution performance
- Training and coaching of leaders and employees
- Development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Defining and establishing clear roles and responsibilities in the order/project process
Result
In collaboration, we achieved the following impressive results:
- Adjusting processes that do not depend on individuals
- Broad understanding within the organisation that the majority of orders should follow a procedure with relatively low complexity. The few more complex also largely follow the same basic process.
- Easy transfer of tasks between employees
- More even workload distribution with an online management tool
- A more predictable and efficient execution due to defined roles and responsibilities and a clear understanding of expectations and deliverables between involved stakeholders
- Better overview of the pipeline of potential orders and projects
- Establishment of a "roadmap" for future improvement projects
